friend gave me a tip to stun lock her with a heavy weapon. i leveled up the serpent's fang and beat her 2nd try with it. just gotta keep that hoe from attacking and make sure your ashes hold aggro when she tries to do those one shot kill attacks that are unavoidable without a shield.

Last night I hit level 110 and about 90ish hours. I think I'm finally ready to ride the Grand Lift of Dectus after finishing the Renna quest.
Did not think I'd be riding coffins into random locations!

I've tried to cover every part of the map. Actually just realized I need to do one last thing before going up there....Invert the Carian Study Hall with that inverted statue.

I'm in the same boat. I think I'm at 89 hours and I'm still doing stuff in Eastern Liurnia.
I spent so much time farming the chicken and helping in co-op that I haven't progressed much in my own game. But at least I have 100+ Rune Arcs

40 hours and this is all I have uncovered.
Uncovered…not explored. I still have to explore The NW a bit more and haven’t explored the eastern red part..was just teleported there.
Still haven’t used a summon. Excited about that. My biggest battle is deciding if I want to duel guccitanas or two hand my bloodhound. Wish I’d just find a weapon better than both so I don’t have to worry any more. Still so much to learn. Still so much to explore.

It’s no Bloodborne for me but I’m enjoying it…quite casually though. I’ll probably have beat this thing by the time fall comes around.

Isn't the Bloodhound's Fang one of the best weapons in the game?

It doesn’t feel off to me. Just different. I’m still really torn about the open world. I love it at times and then hate it at times.
I miss finding shortcuts. Like that was huge for me and just as important as beating bosses. I find some in the castles I go to but I wish there were so many more big compounds to explore. It’s almost like I’m playing BoTW at times…shite ton of small little shrines/discovery and only a few big compounds. I hate it.

Once you get rolling you may find yourself a bit OP early like I have. Nothing has been overly challenging outside of maybe 3 total hours over two nights trying to kill Godrick who’s much easier if you summon but I ain’t bout it.

Does crafting do anything important?
To me yes, arrows and lots of them. Arrows of all different types too. Bolts, etc...

Yeah, between the high damage stats, bleed, and stagger it's one of the best. I am dual wielding them both maxed in NG+ and absolutely smash. It's a ton of damage even against the end game NG+ bosses.

After beating Radahn, I went down a deep rabbit hole of side quests and got all kinds of stuff. Knocked out Ranni and Sellen’s quests and grabbed up some good weapons and spells. I got to the last guy on the Volcano Manor quest and it says I have to go to the mountains. I can’t do that without going through Leyndell, so that’s where I’m at.

Gave it another hour or so tonight. I don't like it. Maybe souls games have lost their appeal to me.
