It's not the sweat that ruins the polyester polos. It's washing them in hot water and drying them with high-medium heat.

Forgive my lack of laundry knowledge. I hang all of my collared/buttoned shirts in my laundry room, never putting them in the dryer.
If i wash them in cold, I'll have better success getting them clean?

I have a couple of bayou birdie shirts my wife bought me from the owner while he was selling at Royal Standard or somewhere. They are good shirts. My go to shirts are RLX - super thin and moisture wicking. Best shirts for high heat.

Either Peter Millar or Foot-Joy. Only two I’ll buy.

I sweat through every shirt.
I can’t see paying over $20 for a shirt for me to completely saturate in sweat and sunscreen.
TGW often has Greg Norman shirts for $20.
They fit me and I can toss them when they look really bad.

Fair enough. I sweat but the Millar’s seem to be most comfortable in hot weather. Both, Millar and Foot-Joys, last few years for me. Other brands I’ve tried haven’t held up.

Don’t sleep on BCG polos from academy. Cheap, no frills, but keep you cool.

Check out Three Sixty Six shirts on Amazon. Usually can be had under $30 and they are very comfortable. Not going to win any fashion contests but for a summer sweat polo they are perfect.

I wash all of mine in cold and hang dry. Haven’t had any issues. Hope this helps!

Tried two new ones this weekend with Burlebo and Chubbies. Both were nice, sweated a little more in the Burlebo. Chubbies has some wild designs but they are pretty good quality and stayed decently cool in them in the 90+ Texas heat.

Not heat related but I have a Peter Millar that I like to wear but I have a beard, and any stubble on my neck always catches in the collar.

These look pretty nice on the website but I’m not sure I could get past the name “chubbies” WTF were they thinking with that

Yea I legit didn't look at them at Dillards because I thought they were just big and tall. Saw them at Academy and got one. Thankfully they don't say the name on the polo, just the pineapple logo.
