adjustable 7 wood

Recommend me something O' Collector of the Clubs.

Ping G410 or G425 7 wood. It's 20.5°, but you can get it down to 19° with an open face.

Driver by far. I hit everything pretty consistently on the course except for it. Every range session I think I figure it out only to go on the course and spray the ball all over the planet off the tee, I think I just have the yips to be honest because it happens even if I hit a 3W or Hybrid off the tee

For me it's the 3 wood.

Dropped my 3 wood for a 5 wood and hit it way better..

Right now it's my 5I ... Don't know what it is but I have a real dislike for it

My 56 and 52 wedges. I can’t hit them with any type of distance. 56 goes like 50-60 yards. 52 goes 90 most of the time. Infuriating

How far do you hit a pitching wedge?
The lofts on some pitching wedges are 43 degrees and few are even lower. Cobra’s latest iron set has Pitching wedge at 41.5.

So if you 52 is paired with a 43 degree pitching wedge you probably need a 48.

Also, check shafts, lie angles and bounce. These may be working against you relative to your standard iron setup/swing.

Modern clubs have really delofted irons/wedges with each iteration. The gaps are getting wider year by year.

A 5 wood 5 years ago is now relabeled as a 7 wood.

A 8 iron from 20 years ago is closer to a pitching wedge now.

My 5 iron is killing me. I'm done playing for the year (live up North) but my main goal is to get that club back in line next year. The past few years I just haven't been able to hit it well which is a killer on some longer par 3's that we play regularly.

3 wood of the deck. I can crush it when I’m on tee box.

It’s randomly my 5 or 6 iron. Those 2 clubs for some reason make me over think every swing with them. It’s never in the same round either. Some rounds it will be the 5 and some it will be the 6.

As I said above, my 5 iron has been terrible for some time, ironically my best club as has been my 6 for a while. There have been many times I need to hit a 5 but choose the 6 and then chip on the green. I know I'll hit the 6 straight and far, the 5 is such a mystery that it isn't worth the risk.

P-wedge is 115-120. Cobra F6 irons. Site says loft is 45 degrees.

That is a reasonable loft, and that is a good distance. Mine is 45 degrees, and I figure 100-110 depending.

The manufacturers keep dialing down the lofts a degree or two over time.

7 irons are what 5 irons used to be. I think it is the reason many people(not all) only carry 6 iron-PW as the set.

3W and 4I

3W is hit or miss. I can hit a georgous shot or roll it. 50/50

4I, rarely hit that thing work a crap. Even off a tee.

Sooooo frustrating.

3W followed by 3-5H. Hit them on the screws at the range and then all hell breaks loose on the course.

Best is 58 deg W. And it’s my oldest club by far. Not exactly the latest tech.

Fairway woods. Lost the ability to hit them off the deck years ago. I always hit a 3 iron instead.

I like to think that I can grind through most issues with clubs… but when the driver goes off, I want to give up the game. I play a tight and punishing home course, and when I fling my 8th ball into the woods for the day and past those fricking white stake again, I about lose it.
