We need depth, so all the lineman won't be starters

I don’t think Sprinkke has seen 295 in a while. Probably more like 335. Recommended by new DL coach the chickens were recruiting him.

I hate to ask this again because I have asked a similar question about several people this week, but if he is so good, what was he doing at NC Central?

I know. Like that Jared Verse guy at Albany. Remember when Florida State took a chance on him?

Seriously though. Recruiting is not precise. Kids go unnoticed all of the time. Looks like this one is a little short and a little light, which probably made it hard to get recruited. So the question is whether he’s been super productive at the FCS level or not. We want production not potential. See Cignetti.

A week ago I posted a guy from UNH, all-conference OT, better than Sprinkles and you all formed a Lynch mob. May have been cheap depth.

Now you clowns act like this guy is going to be a hall of famer.

fricking commoners.

I agree. LSU will be in real trouble if this guy would be a starter. IMO, he won't be. He will be the type of OL who goes in when someone goes to the medical tent for a series....might be a blocker on the LOS when LSU punts, etc.

Unfortunately that’s how it goes here timing is everything with these posts.

I mentioned duece knight a couple times in the last week. Every time I’ve received numerous downvotes. Someone makes a thread today and yall act like he reinvented the wheel!

With the portal the way it is there will be way more undiscovered gems in these lower leagues, high school recruits will be getting de-emphasized for the foreseeable future

100% no reason to have a player like this. Dude is a terrible blocker. He'll be even more useless at LSU. Is Lane doing someone a solid we don't know about ?

Zero stars, nobody else interested, well below average PFF grades, I think this is a depth move. We definitely let better talent leave

Jahri Evans went to Bloomsburg.

Nfl finds these guys all the time.

Some kids mature physical later and by then they have played 2 years of small school ball

More players now fall through the cracks than ever due to NIL. Teams are less willing to invest in HS projects since they can just get plug and play guys in the portal now. Plus the sheer massive volume that go in the portal unnoticed. They can't scout everyone easily but more importantly, it really screws over HS players the most especially rawer prospects.
