Never thought about outside companies…need to do research.
You must be sleeping under a rock. NIL applies to ALL amateur athletes regardless of age. Kids in 8th grade can be inked to NIL deals. NOLA companies such as Kentwood Spring Water, Children’s Hospital, Zatarains, etc… can pay kids for marketing, advertising and promotion of their companies. Because Harlem is the #1 RB in America, his NIL deals would likely be with nationwide companies such as Gatorade (Pepsi) or Powerade (Coca Cola).

No offers is about $100k for your first year in the SEC. That’s if the profit sharing check equals the NIL one…which was the estimate. Will go up from there.
Berry probably gets that a visit.

When it gets closer to signing day I guess we’ll see if the mysterious phone calls start. We only talk to school employees so far.
Serious question: have you informed those employees that your boy is pay to play?
Conversations may change if so (and assuming your kid is that good, I really have no idea, barely keep up with recruiting any more)

Not really sure why people are being dicks to Gaston. He shared his experience with NIL offers for his son…that’s all. Obviously it’s not the whole picture, and his son is not as highly sought after as Berry.
And we have guys getting on their high horse about “pay to play”, like it’s the 1980’s and they’re doing investigative work for the Dallas Morning News on SMU. Get a grip lol

Every post is an attempt to brag about his kicker son. It’s old and tired.

That’s not how it’s worked. You have to try out and beat the other kids to get an offer. No school is playing a bidding game for a high school kicker.
May get interesting around signing day, lots of things are changing with scholarship rules. Instead of teams having a bunch of walk on specialists and a few scholarships…looks like next year you’ll only scholarship say 6 specialists (2 punter, 2 kickers, and 2 snappers) total and that’s it. Makes choosing who gets those much more important.

I know shite tons of kids my son’s age who can kick 60 yard field on command…it’s really not that big of a deal. The question is how will you be on Saturday and literally no one knows that.
My life has been driving all over the place going to camps and schools…I wish I was a famous dirt track racer..,and that’s what I talked about. My new hopped up 750 Harley and how my mechanics can change out piston rings between each race…but I’ve never ridden on a dirt track.

The two guys who have offered my son NIL were the CFOs of each football program
Livvy Dunne is a millionaire. Do you think that all came from the LSU collective?
NIL deals are more likely to be lucrative when they are 3rd party (as NIL is intended to be). Its the same Ad based marketing that has existed for decades. Jacob Hester posts a insta laying on a bed with Smalls Sliders. Thats the same thing, he's just not a college athlete
Harlem is getting paid to represent a company by wearing and promoting their gear. NIL at its purest.

Have they reported what the deal is?

Someone get Bryce a similar deal for the QB position and fast...

Because people told him that his experience with NIL and his kid are totally irrelevant to what this thread is about, yet he still brings his kid up in every post. He is pretending to know about to know how the recruitment of a 5 star RB works, when in reality he has no clue.
Based on his posting history, I'm assuming his son is Evan Noel, who he claims is the best kicker in his class. Great for him and his son, but his experiences are nothing like what Berry is experiencing.

True, I use this place for an education. I don’t understand any of it really.
Berry is obviously getting an LSU NIL collective special deal…the money it takes to get him to sign the LOI (and honestly that’s what I thought this was). (1-2 million?)
He’ll get the highest monthly payment (tier) from the collective, and that’s issued for 11 of the 12 months in the year. This comes with mandatory appearances for the collective’s charities. I assume he could opt out of this and not take this check.
He’ll get a 11/12 monthly checks similar to the collective tier he’s on for profit sharing.
He’ll get the $25-30k scholarship money divided out at the beginning of each semester.
And then…he’ll get these industry partner deals that really aren’t even attached to LSU (similar to Reece). This is the real NIL…he’s just simply famous enough to get these deals.

How TF does one sign an NIL deal to a place he hasn’t even signed a LOI to? He just got his formal offer 3 weeks ago.
Someone could pay you to promote their product right now if they wanted to... thats how

No lesson there. You can’t always take, sometimes you gotta give.

well.. LSU isn’t giving him the deal.

Because no one gives a shite about your son, especially a company like Beats, Nike, etc.
No one is taking your word on how the recruitment of a 5 star number 1 RB goes just because you have talked to the Southeastern Missouri State athletic director’s secretary.
I seem to remember Cade York signing an NIL deal with a national brand and being featured in nationwide commercials, just saying.

Cam Little was the top NIL guy at Arkansas as well…he kicked the game winner at LSU as a freshman.
Kicking the game winning field goal on the road at Florida is one of those moments for Cade that he’d love to top. Not going to be easy.
As a kicker you can’t really ask for shite until you produce.
