Is this what 11:59 means?

From conversations in other threads, it seems like he has until 11:59 to declare. Then Ole Miss has 48 hours to place his name in the portal. But yeah, I don’t think we’ll see home in an LSU jersey unfortunately.

The 5 days are up. Oh, and for the record, my guess is that as long as he applies for the portal by midnight tonight, I doubt Ole Miss little delay tactic will work. Also, FYI, 247Sports has the player listed in their portal listings dated yesterday I might add. That sounds like an unfounded rumor IMO.

No it’s a 5 day window you are guaranteed. When the championship ends, Indiana and Miami players will have 5 additional days.

You get 2 weeks, but the teams in the cfb get 5 additional days after their last game

As long as the player submits their request to the school the compliance office MUST submit the paperwork within 48 hours (2 business days).
The deadline is for the player to submit their request. Not for the school compliance office to submit the paperwork.

The window is 2 weeks as you stated. But here is the extension you were talking about that does NOT include Ole Miss...from CBS sports site "players participating in a postseason game on or after Jan. 12 will have an opportunity to start the transfer process during a five-day period that begins the day after their final postseason game. "

Correct! I don't like Ole Miss better than anyone else but these conspiracy theories are getting a bit old. The player is IN the portal according to 247Sports.

The additional 5 days are are only for Indiana and Miami. Everyone else is before 12am Eastern
