We were on Uzzillia when he was in high school, I think he committed to NC State before deciding to go JUCO. I still have him on my follow list, but I don't know if we're doing any more than just tracking him.

Possibly my favorite player in the class. He was the top uncommitted 2026 guy according to BA. Went 9 up, 9 down with 9 swinging strike outs in his appearance at area codes. Will be a tough pull to campus but he’s got a chance to be special.

Well obviously I don't want to completely disregard football for the sake of baseball but the nightmare would be to hire someone who does anything to upset Jay.
I'm also fine sacrificing men's basketball for the benefit of the other sports. LSU is fine with just football, baseball, women's sports, and olympic sports.

Luke Esquivel just reclassified to the 2027 class. We now have no commits beyond 2027, which is normal.

Didn't the press release mention the word "rehab", noting that he was expected to return later in the Fall? Rehab is usually related to a substance issue, not a physical issue in a coach. And substance rehab usually has a time frame involved.
