Clearly just to help a random stranger asking him personal questions at a team event to pull an elaborate “gotcha” on the rant.

Meanwhile the smaller schools are sending teams to Omaha despite the disadvantage.

The advantage goes both ways. Highly talented kids that can't crack a lineup like LSU's are going to smaller schools or i should say less advantaged programs

Have you watched the games? He's improved tremendously across the course of the season.

Where do we think the two transfers will fit into the lineup next year?
Simpson at 3B and Dardar at 1B?
Does that make Reaves the leading candidate for 2B?

Jay said Mic is going with the team to Omaha, even though not on the active roster.

The best defender will play 2B. We saw how helpful it is to have a dynamite MIF this year.

It's possible we bring someone else in to play 1B. It's possible we bring someone else in to play 3B. Larson could come back and take over at 1B. We could get a guy like Garcia from Duke, Stanfield back, and move Brown to 1B. It's really too early to tell.

Dardar has played 3B the most of his games.
Simpson has played 1B the most of his games.

Neither is an exceptional defender. Dardar is better statistically. I'd rather him at 2B, try Reaves in the OF, and do something like this with the lineup looking like this (again, really early. Also being as pessimistic as I can about retention)

C - Arrambide
1B - Pearson
2B - Dardar
3B - Simpson
SS - Milam
LF - Reaves
CF - Curiel
RF - Brown

Again - this is being as pessimistic as I can with retention, and not counting any freshman or additional transfers coming in. I'm sure the roster will look much different in a month. Like, if you get Young into the class, he is competing day 1 for a spot in the lineup. Same with Ebel and Moss, at minimum.

Hoping Bryce Calloway from UNO comes in to play 1b. Jay met with him last week, just waiting on an offer. Senior that should be able to make an immediate impact.

yes, I would agree with this. You can't piss on their leg and tell them its raining. Per CJJ game experience is the best teacher and he values it. If you can't get them the experience they have to leave and go get it.

Sucks, but I get it.

You keep repeating this like it's still not up to the player to earn the experience.

Reaves in LF? No that’s happening he can’t hit SEC pitching. He will be a bat off the bench
