I read that Virginia 2nd baseman Henry Godbout is being sought. He was 2nd team All ACC this year and hit over .300.

Godbout is draft eligible and is likely a 2nd-3rd rounder (72nd on MLB top 100). He’s in the portal for draft leverage.

I'm sorry, but what is "insane" about 70 strikeouts to 17 walks in 80.1 innings? I have never seen this guy pitch, so I have no comment on his stuff, but those numbers aren't anything that jump off the page, other than that he seems to be a strike thrower.

Curial, Brown, Frey, Stanfield it would be nice to pick up another transfer but if Frey and Stanfield stay we are set.

This one sucks, not the end of the world by any means but would have liked to have a veteran bat back. This may mean that Stanfield could be returning and Larson needs to for sure playing time in a money year.
This more comes down to that I wish the MLB draft had slot based compensation, instead we have every kid needing playing time to be drafted after their junior year or they miss out on being paid. Huge flaw in the system in my opinion. Best of luck to Ashton.

Yep. Frey will get drafted too high to come back. I think this means Stanford is coming back, but losing Larson is unfortunate. Was hoping he would get a look at first base. He has the size for a nice stretch.

Yeah Frey is pretty much gone.
An OF of Stanfield, Curiel, and Brown is a lot of returning talent and some serious speed. Will remind me of some of those early Paul teams that had elite speed in the OF.
What I think LSU really needs at this point is one more OF, a couple power bats that could play first, and pitching.
