Moore going pro would be a key domino. Oregon would probably pivot to either Leavitt or raoila imo.

Also will be interesting to see what happens at bama with Simpson/russell.

maybe so, not saying he isn't good. I want him. But, let's be honest, OM didn't play a bunch of good teams. Will be interested to see how he does against Georgia....they are playing really well down the stretch.

Lagway wants LSU bad if Chambliss is denied. His backup plan is Baylor.

Name me a QB that would have thrived in that situation at Florida.

What’s the hold up with this? They were supposed to make a decision on his eligibility around 2 weeks ago!

I’m assuming you missed where Chambliss led Ole Miss to 5 straight TDs against UGA in the regular season. Not trying to be an arse but thought you might’ve actually forgot about that game.

Guys listen really Chambliss was the best he could get at ole miss not at LSU!! Remember that

Chambliss was their version of MVB- a guy who was willing to come in knowing he would be a backup. You aren’t getting a top portal QB to come in a be 2nd string unless there are problems where they were before, like Spencer Sanders leaving Okie St for Ole Miss to sit behind Dart.

If not Chambliss, I really want Byrum Brown. If he's looking at Lagway, let's hope Lagway is okay with redshirting this year as backup.

Brown has a lot more athletic ability than MVB, but he’s almost as erratic and it cost his team winnable games and a playoff shot. And that’s playing against lesser competition in the American. After having watched sever of his games, he’s at the bottom of my list. Plus we would have to overpay by a lot if Auburn/Golesh want him.

He’s also a been running a Briles Power Spread offense. Kiffin uses elements of that, but his offense is more diverse and complex than most of straight Briles tree guys like Baby Briles, Heupel and Golesh. Brown may not be the best choice for this scheme after running nothing but the full-on paint by numbers Briles scheme.

He’s the closest Jayden Daniels clone you’re going to find. He would have led the SEC in passing yards if he started from game 1 but as is, 3rd in sec passing yards, 3rd in sec rushing yards (had more yards than Durham), 2nd in qb rating (with more than 30 pass attempts). What else are you looking for?

And he’s plug and play. I don’t see a better option as far as filling the gap for a year

I’m very intrigued by what Lagway would look like in Coach Kiffins system.

Crazy enough, he transferred to LSU in college football 26.

*And won the Heismen

There's a difference between being a little mediocre and being bad. Lagway was just bad and a turnover machine. We just got rid of a turnover machine, not sure we want to go back to that.
