Does LSU plan on adding anyone else to this signing class today or are we done?

Dandydon.com this morning:
As for today’s NSD action, the Tigers are expected to sign two currently committed players — cornerback Emari Peterson of Orlando and Louisiana’s own Jackson Williams, a safety out of Shaw High School

He signed a few weeks ago and is already attending classes at LSU.

The Portal class, right? I can't believe someone that went to a junior college qualifies for a HS class, two years after he left HS, right? Or did the recent lawsuits vs the NCAA for extra years ultimately deem time spent at a JUCO doesn't count against eligiblity?

Today would be when the Bayou Bash was hosted by the Tiger Gridiron Club. Perhaps if the early signing period is delayed and moved back to February (today) then we can host that event again. The NCAA will have a long discussion about the time line concerning starting the college playoffs, when the portal will open, etc. thanks largely in part to LSU and Lane Kiffin.

The Diego Pavia suit was the one, ruled NCAA can’t govern eligibility of junior college players. So the years spent in JC won’t count toward the 4 years of eligibility.
I say 4 years. Players like Chamblis and Pavia want to play until retirement age.

I miss the Bayou Bash as well. Great time to take off a day of work and enjoy fun times with my LSU brothers as the names of the newest recruits are posted on the board.
Hard to replicate now with early signing period, portal and then leftovers on national signing day.

Junior College players have always signed at the same time as the high schoolers. That’s not new.

The Portal is only for NCAA division players. JUCO players do not enter the portal. The recruiting services do not count JUCO transfers with the portal class.

I would stay in college and collect NIL all I could too before becoming an UDFA and get one 100k check before working for Amazon
