He very well could still end up at LSU but i could see him having a very John Mater type season where ever he goes. He'll have some big wins and look really good but disappear in few too. When he faced good teams this year he fell apart quite a few times. But he's extremely talented and is a good QB. The actual arm isn't near as impressive as the overall athleticism tho.

Guy follows his gf, gets paid more money, and has a cakewalk to the playoffs. I mean I get it.
The floor at TT is way higher because they play a very easy schedule, but the ceiling is also lower, he has no shot at winning it all there.

It's about where he thinks he has the best chance to be successful. I feel he thinks Winning games in the sec is a lot harder then at TT. Choosing to take the easiest path in the long run usually bites you in arse. He's good. Great ones want to play the best.

If he chooses TT it is more than likely a financial decision. I trust Lane will find some QB’s who can play. Remember, nobody had heard of Chambliss or Mendoza before this year.
