Mothershed will be a factor in the RedZone with him and Green on field at the same time.

Agree, but believe Lane will use a blocking fullback effectively. His passing game gets a lot of talk, but Lane's best years involve running the ball more than passing. We will run behind both Bah and Harper a lot this year. I think if we can run on 3rd and short, then Lane will go to it.
Adding that you are correct on number of plays being limited in the overall picture. But it feels pretty valuable if we are consistently good at picking up 3rd and short. Running behind a good fullback in these scenarios can break a defense. Especially, with good QB play that keeps all the pass options available in short yardage. Put the fullback in and pass if they load the box.

I lost interest when you had Eugene Wilson at 21. Dude is elite
Posted on 1/24/26 at 10:13 am to WhyAreWeHere
Where would you rank him overall, and the WR's in general?
Posted on 1/24/26 at 10:25 am to Lester Earl
88 of Wilson’s career 107 receptions have come within 10yds of the LOS, with the majority coming behind the LOS. He has had some flashes but not sure what he does that is elite. He’ll be a nice little gadget player

WR I have Watkins slightly above Tre Brown
RB I have Gage above Guillory and Gainey.
Didn’t know why you had such a gap between the DL Green and Blocton since they have almost identical number of tackles but went back and saw snap count and now see why.
I’m real high on Delane hs film. Huge get.

LE I’m very interested to see how TEs are deployed this year. Wright was one of the best in the SEC but so much of it came from him lining up as an H back where he’s lead blocking a lot of their run stuff. I’m still not convinced Trey’Dez is best in that role.

Tre Brown has the most balanced route tree data coming from his old school. A lot of this could change in a new offense with different players.
Watkins is probably 2nd. Brown played outside, and Watkins in the slot.
Partly why I favored both over Jayce brown who I see more as a speciality WR.
Watkins also has familiarity in the offense which should go a long way.

Treydez split out wide or in the slot about 93% of the snaps last year. So theoretically should be considered a WR.
The guy from Pitt will probably start and play a similar role to Wright(formationally), but I doubt is used in the pass game quite as much.
LaFleuer will have to play too. It’s been radio silence on him since he signed. I’m curious how he developed. I thought at the point of signing should maybe be groomed to play OT.

Gotcha. Yeah just judging off of high school highlights, I liked Guillory more. I know those don't tell the whole story.
Interested to see how Lane manages this RB room. First time we've had real, talented depth there since what, 2017?
I don't consider the Diggs/Williams/Cain backfields real RB depth, nor do I consider the TDP/Injured Emery/Armani Goodwin/Corey Kiner rooms real RB depth.
We had the bodies in those. I think we've finally got the talent in these.

Will definitely be interesting.
I keep referring to his 2nd team at Ole Miss, and the carry-share he used:
Matt Corral 152 att
Jerrion Ealy (5'8" 190) 133 att / 32 rec
Snoop Conner (5'10" 222) 130 att / 14 rec
Henry Parrish (5'10" 185) 105 att / 21 rec
the running QB is a catalyst for a Kiffin offense, but I'd like to see Leavitt in the 85-100 carry range. That would leave more touches for the RBs.
Berry had 8 catches last year, which was criminal. That has to be the 30-40 catch range, if not more.
So if there is a 3 way backfield, Berry, Durham, and Dilin Jones? Idk, look at the tape, Jones just seems like the sturdiest of the crew.

Guillory seems like a great gadget guy, but Berry i obviously #1 gadget guy.
Does Kiffin utilize WR in the backfield at all? That could also impact things.

Seems a consensus Harris is your 1 at wideout?

I guess I am missing something with all the downvotes.
Probably the fact Jayce Brown is so low.
And behind Jaylen Brown?
Brown was KSU best receiver. He had a collarbone injury last year, but has been really productive.
Jaylen hasn’t done much, and is the 94th best edge in the portal.
I’m not knocking your rankings. Can you explain your Jaylen ranking? Genuinely curious if you see something, potential, etc.

It's great that the two important OL recruits are #s 2 & 6.

I address both points on page 3
Trying to balance the traits of the WRs. There is a bit of overlap in what they do. I should probably have him a little higher for sure
