That qb for Texas Tech Will Hammond looks like the real deal.
2024 completion percentage 61% and for 2025 looking like 72%

That’s only spot duty and 1 start. But guy is a gamer. He is going to get paid if he keeps it up and rightfully so

Has started at least a few P4 games. Has 2 years of eligibility left (I can understand people thinking only 1 year is necessary) Has some dual threat ability.

So….Michael Van Buren

van Buren is as good as most of the players listed. if he wouldn't have had a slow start in spring and fall everyone would think we had our guy ,just based on film from games instead of practice. Mississippi state and lsu game film is pretty good.

he played well against Georgia as a true freshman ..how many guys can you say that about, in the history of cfb

If Houston can reclassify for 2026, i'm cool with the QB room consisting of Van Buren, Hurly and Houston...

van burden’s knock in practice was “ oh he is not looking good going against our defense”
well so far no one else is either
i’d be content with him over anyone else mentioned so far

Forget the TT QB.

Apparently his existing deal has been “upgraded” this week.

You’d be content with him based off a half of football vs SELU ?

We should absolutely not settle for him and being in a guy and have a competition

I do not believe the Cal QB is going to leave the west coast. He was originally committed to Cal out of HS, flipped to Oregon and transferred out Oregon almost right away to go right back to Cal.

I can easily see being close to his family, who is back in Hawaii, as the most important factor for him

It comes down to evaluation. Lagway wasn't even mentally present at the LSU game. Bad look on the sidelines ... evaluation evaluation evaluation evaluation and money. If you're serious about winning it all.

The kid from Washington, D. Williams is the real deal. Plays just like Jayden. Hope he hits the portal

LSU will likely always be looking to upgrade that position every season and they should. Van Buren is welcome to stay, but he isn’t going to be handed the position.

He may be getting called up to his hometown of Miami after their QB leaves this year.

I don’t get why some of yall are having such a hard time believing Van Buren is actually a good QB. A couple bad practices at the start of fall practice doesn't make a guy a bad QB.

You could obviously see the potential he had against Southeastern and he did well last season considering he was on a really bad Mississippi State team.

Mensah reportedly got a 2 year, $8 million deal to leave Tulane for Duke, Sagapolutele is better and will get attention from more prominent programs. Dude is going to get a lot of money to play ball next year.

He went 17/38 for 208 yards and 2 ints this week against San Diego st. Are we sure he's good?

Because we are not delusional?

LSU has to attract better players. End of story
