That's what the OP is about, but not the conversation you decided to chime in on.

It doesn't matter for your conversation. Carry on.

Because they just assume the worst possible outcome so they won’t be disappointed. They don’t really know.

An education from Texas is much more valuable than LSU. Texas’s football team is pretty good to and they also have a lot of money.

I don't think that's 100% true.
In fact, it really depends on what your major is...LSU it's really high up on the list for a few of those majors, and whether you like living in weird, liberal hell.

For what? To win more? I assume he’s not a west bank kid so Karr is out.

Aug or Curtis, maybe Rummel?

Probably to play in a better offense, I watched him against Rummel and the quarterback play was so bad I couldn’t get a good feel for him.

Yes I’m sure he is concerned with the earnings potential of his General Studies degree.

I have degrees from both schools. LSU does just fine in the marketplace and, just as important, in the actual career trajectory once you get a good job.

I explain this all the time, unless you want to do deep research in STEM, a degree from LSU is just as valuable and useful as one from Texas or Texas am

I saw the kid quit on two plays that would have helped his team, out of frustration just watched an int in front of him that we returned to the two. Royal couldve tracked him down at the 20 minimum. I lost all respect for him.

But good God he is fast. Jesus.

It's always amazed me that these kids with NFL-tier physical skills aren't all studying some variation of finance. If it all pans out they're going to make vast amounts of money in a few short years. It seems a no-brainer that they would want to at least speak the language of their future investment people.
