But he was a 5* out of high schoo
are you fricking serious ? what does some subjective recruiting rating system designation have to do with how the guy panned out at LSU ? if anything, you are only proving the point .. for a supposed five-star, no miss recruit, RS didn't come close to living up to that potential .. and blaming miles and lsu coaching staff for four years is just straight up dumb ..

I bet if you look at his stats, you'll see a lot of short gains offset by the occasional 60 yd carry.
this is exactly right ... his long run against mighty towson props the frick up out of his season stats in 2012 ..

yep...my fellow cowboys fans always want to bag on Shante Carver saying he was a bust and didn't pan out...I just tell them haters----HEY HE WAS A FIRST ROUND PICK!

But it doesn't agree with the Miles haters' agenda, so it continually is ignored.

Sadly NO WAY. I like the kid but he just not NFL caliber talent.

and you know this how, expert??

He had clay hands and average speed and was too small to break a tackle...nice kid...wish him well...but not drafted

Free Agent, make a training camp. I don't think anything from that.

Simmer down man, is your sarcasm meter broken today? That was a poke at all those star gazers out there.

He had four years, including a senior year where he couldn't see the field over receivers that were decidedly underwhelming and underclassmen. Perhaps he should have put as much effort into learning to catch and run routes properly as he did into whining on Twitter?
This. Hard to catch a pass while you're typing on a cell phone.

The Pittsburgh Power will trade up to get him.

Really just depends on if we go to war vs China and Russia at the same time.

He will get a look as a free agent because of his measurables
will be very interesting to see what his 40 time will be at LSU pro day. A lot of fans seem to believe he has blazing speed. I think he is going to show good speed, maybe break 4.5, but his size and strength won;t show very well. he improved his WR skills a great deal over his 4 years at LSU, but still not up to NFL level

Say what? He barely improved. Bad hands", bad routes, no wiggle. And not only is he not up to the NFL level, he wasn't even up to SEC level.
Look, I think we all like Shep, but he's just not a good football player.
