Well,to be fair,if we turn it around and win this series against vandy and win some more series then he wont get fired . He would have to retire. Especially if we win the sec tournament and end up hosting a regional.
Doubt it happens but to say hes gone already anyway is just dumb. They wont fire him if we host a regional.
Will some still want him gone? I'm sure, and they will be pissed.

Oh ,for all the people that havent been able to watch because of having to stream it , were on espn2 at 8pm tonight.
Let's hope this guy pitching against us tonight doesnt throw another no hitter .he had one in his first start ever,I know he threw one but forgot if it was his first year and if he did it in the sec. I dont think it was in conference, now that I think about it

The results of this series has no impact on CPM's tenure at LSU.
Series at UK, at Auburn, at A&M as well as home series versus alabama and Carolina will have much more impact on CPM's tenure than series against the top teams, Vandy, Arkie, and OMiss.

If he deserves to be fired then the results will bear that out. There’s no need to wish for LSU to lose all of their games.

CPM may be awful at developing players, but he’s an expert at keeping his job. A sweep will mean people will think the team is improving when we go 1-2.

No, that’s the same thing people started saying about Les late in his time here but no real LSU fan should ever want us to lose a game. Those kids are out there doing their best and I don’t know how you could want them to fail. Woody needs to fire CPM, if you want to push him in that direction fans shouldn’t go to games and let the attendance force his hand but as a fan I could never pull against the Tigers.
