Catcher is a hole but it’s hard to dig out of when kids commit at 15 years old these days.
Cain brought in Morgan, Crews and Doughty. Without those 3 we probably haven’t won an SEC game this year.
He brought in Milazzo, an excellent defensive catcher, who we all thought would develop a better hit tool by now.
He brought in Thompson who looks to be the next great LSU shortstop.
The young pitchers were all highly sought after
Cain got the talent here. It’s not his job to develop them.
