How big is the difference between McManus and Milazzo behind the plate? If McManus can’t hold on to the spot, we’re going to have a ridiculous number of guys fighting to DH.
Milazzo is a much better receiver but he's an all conference defensive player...and yes if McManus can't hold down catcher it's going to create quite a shuffle because they'll want both his and Berry's bat in the lineup.

How many times have you seen this team actually practice in the fall and spring? Serious question

7-8 times in the fall and then the exhibitions/world series.
Twice this spring for scrimmages.
I used to be out there everyday, work and kids doesn't allow that anymore.

IT IS FEBRUARY AND I AM READY BABY.
This team is going to make a RUN RUN. The schedule will be brutal once more but we have the roster to rake and take series

Thanks Adam. I've been looking forward to this since Johnson was hired
I also expect catcher to be very fluid, especially early on. I'd also imagine most weekends you'll see something like catcher a Fri and Sat then catcher b sun. If Hilliard is starting Sunday then maybe you see him pair up with Milazzo more to pick up his big curveball.
I'm interested to see Priester play. Hope he's able to get some midweek games or some later inning mop up duty.

Milazzo is an elite defender in terms of his receiving and quickness. McManus is slightly above average. But if he can make a jump like Scivicque did, he’s your starter.

I dont know why....but me too.
Maybe its pairing his badass name with a Brad Cresse-like production at the plate.....but I want it.

Crews, Berry, Morgan all make D1Baseball's first team all-american.
Straight insane.
Straight insane.

I think its pretty clear, barring an injury, neither McManus nor Milazzo will likely start all three games over a weekend series. As someone else said earlier, if McManus is solid defensively he will be the starter. But if not, it should be Milazzo. As much as this team should hit, a guy like Alex who can put the bat on the ball and advance runners should be enough from the eight or nine hole.

Before you get too far into these could you add batting side and throwing arm? Thanks as always
