MVB will improve by leaps and bounds under Lane and the offensive staff. I feel confident the staff will bring in others to compete.

Trust in Lane.
Chambliss came from D-2 and was supposed to be the backup this year. Now look at him.
I almost rather that we miss on these portal QB’s that are trying to command $5-7M and use that money to improve the OL. I’d be fine with rolling with MVB with an improved OL and a year of Kiffin developing him.

Well if we don't get chambliss, i believe the ideal plan with the remaining two would be to get both Sorsby and Leavitt, & have Sorsby as your starter while Leavitt recovers from the injury

Honestly, who knows who we will end up with. Chambliss may not get his extra year. We may get outbid for Sorsby and Leavitt (or more appropriately, we may not value them at market rate), and thus may “miss” all three.
What I know is that a lot of QBs look awesome when placed in great situations and there is a lot of talent across college football that is not in great situations.
What I also know is that we have a coach who has a documented history of finding great transfer QBs and making them look great. Most recently, he found Chambliss at Ferris Freaking State and turned him into a top QB. Previously, Dart.
How about we not melt and trust the dude with a track record to do what he does.

How many schools wanted chambliss last year? Even if we don’t get a big name qb I am confident in lane pulling what he needs.
