Quite an accomplishment for a guy that couldn’t get it together on the field. I’d a never thought he was capable of doing the hard part and not the easy.

I did some very dumb stuff while at LSU, so I am the last one to throw stones.

I have no real idea what problems Anderson had at LSU. Good for him that he stayed in school. I am all about redemption stories.

I don’t know if it’s a real possibility, but I would purely live for Anderson to get his act together and return to the team. What a great story that would be. The heck with those who say he can’t do it or doesn’t deserve a second chance.

What crawled up your arse and died? Dee would have thrived in this offense and I would be beyond happy to see him back in purple and gold if at all possible.

You know this for sure? I’d like to have him back. I could’ve sworn he wasn’t even in school anymore so that’s cool that he graduated. I thought he was kicked off the team/left the team. Would they allow him back? Team vote?

I hope for his sake and for LSU’s that Dee returns and produces well enough to get drafted.

Guy would have been a top-5 recruit in his class had he not been kicked off of his high school team for beating up the coach’s son.

He’s super talented. I hope he gets another chance and makes the most of the opportunity.

85 man limit exists.

If you are going to make tough decisions, a guy who hasn't been a huge contributor, but HAS continuously been in trouble including being suspended for his would be senior season is a strong candidate.

He didn’t play at all this year. I guess that would be considered a redshirt.

ever since Dee Anderson got here I've thought he was on the verge of breaking out but he never did. He has excellent physical tools with a big catch radius. If he could put it all together he would be another big weapon on this offense that defenses would have a hard time dealing with. Pulling for him to get it together and make a big impact next season

No that’s not what I want dumb-arse. I want to be 6 or 7 deep at the position. I want their to be minimal drop off if someone gets hurt. I want their to be minimal drop off if someone’s granny passes away, if they get suspended...
I want their to be beasts lined up ready to play given the opportunity.
However, I’d be fine with sitting the starters when the backup QB comes in because we are up 30.
To be clear, I did t say a damn thing about a 6 or 7 man rotation at the position.

My God. Chase, Marshall, Anderson, McMath, Palmer, Gilbert and the others coming in, not to mention if Moss stays? That is a monster cast right there. I hope Dee can keep it between the lines, whether he comes back or not.

Goal line formation with Anderson and Gilbert out wide with Chase and Marshall in the slot. Unstoppable fade routes to the oust side with two of the best receivers in the game running across the middle.

Most likely scenario and certainly part of the reason he got his degree. I wish him well wherever life takes him.

Anderson is just as good as McMath.

Physically? Sure, but there’s more to being good than physical talent, and Dee is NOT as good as Racey.

So you want the 2018 offense vs 2019 offense ?

Cause that’s what they tried.

Having your 3 best WRs take the majority of the snaps is what you want

That’s definitely true about your top three, but it’s a sophomoric point to imply that the receiver rotation was a factor in why 2019 was more prolific. In 2018 we only had one really reliable receiver. In 2019 we have four (counting McMath as the fourth). Burrow’s development, Brady and the offensive line had something to do with it, too.

Dee and Dillon have talent, but they are not reliable every down guys - at least they have not been so far. If Dee can come back, and add to what should be at least a four deep group (Chase, Marshall, Racey and Palmer) that would be nice (if he has changed. If he’s the same Dee Anderson, then don’t waste a scholly). You never know when injuries are going to hit a position group hard.

true, Anderson is that big receiver like Sullivan, but is faster and more athletic with better hands and harder to bring down. If Anderson could ever get past whatever it is that is holding him back, he would be a dangerous addition to the receiving corp. He probably has better physical tools than any receiver on the team. I don't know if it is just that he doesn't put in the work, can't grasp the offense or get in sync with Burrow, gets in trouble or what it is about him that keeps him out the offense

Sullivan should have put on some weight and become an OLB pass rush specialist.

Dee is actually good at playing receiver. If he can learn the offense well enough he is a big mismatch.
