Peetz took the job knowing what he was going to be paid. Why feel sad for him? He’s another failed O project. Brady didn’t set Peetz up. If Peetz was competent as an OC he would have rose to the challenge.

He hasn’t, time to move on from this entire clown show.

I think Peetz is a bright guy. But as of right now, he can not do some basic, important fundamentals of the job. Not sure why or how this was not identified early on.

CEO provided no organizational framework at all for plays to be efficiently relayed down to the sideline. Majority of that is on Peetz though and shows his immaturity regarding play calling duties.
I always say to myself, "is this something that would be left to chance by Saban?"

The answer I get back is always, "no".

Short answer is, this is on chickenshit O, not Peetz. I thought O was supposed to be this "manager/coach". Well, as a coach, he sucks, and as a manager, he sucks even more.

I don't. After taxes for one year he probably made $700,000.00.

If you're accustomed to making $120,000 per year as an offensive asst., that's probably nearly 10 years worth of after tax income.

So if the guy sucks and can't find a job making at least $120K, he probably has 10 years worth of equal earnings he made in 7 months.

This is pure speculation.

Agreed. Plus the guy took a nice pay raise for a promotion in rank. Peetz made a calculated decision.

I think we could all agree that we "feel bad that it isn't working out as well as we had all hoped it would"

I don’t feel sorry for anyone that keeps running a “check with me” system when the defense is literally stalling you by not getting lined up first. High school coaches get plays in more efficiently.

Didn't the Ranters ask for OCs who are in their 30s? They even rejected Mason as Dc because of his age.
They did. Thereby making that an important qualification for the new hire. What does it tell you about the head coach when he takes crazy ranters opinions into consideration?

$700K after taxes for the shite offense he’s responsible for?

Yeah, not feeling sorry for Peetz, and the buyout money he’ll eventually get as well.

There's a reason why we're stuck with the Coordinators that we have. Orgeron is toxic, and Peetz should been well aware.

There were several times when auburn dbs were taking all the time to find their man and line up… because they knew LSU was going to wait all day. Had they done hurry up plays from time to time, wouldn’t have had to kick fg’s the whole game

I was thinking about this earlier. He uprooted his whole family and why would he ever get another OC shot with how our offense has looked. He's obviously way in over his head and he shouldn't be our OC but he seems like a decent guy.

Oh well, he’s got a nice little nest egg out of it. Probably will be a non OC the rest of his career unless he goes to a real small school. He’ll still live a good life doing it.
