This… or
Pearson to 2B, Frey to RF, Brown to CF, and Kling & Milam to the bench.

Serious question Broski, do you think Kling is the only player on the roster capable of playing CF?

Mic Paul, but why put someone in who doesn't play CF as good as Kling and would hit even worse?

He definitely wouldn’t be anything above average but if Johnson didn’t think he was a possibility out there, given the roster makeup, he wouldn’t have tried it already.

Paul isn’t a factor or he would have found a way to give him more ABs by now. He’s a guy who probably isn’t even on the roster this weekend (if we could ever get that info again).

That's my point.

Gotcha. Only have 2 guys on the roster than are even capable of playing that position is kinda crazy

He tried it and it was a disaster, which is why we're right back to Kling.

The importance of a elite glove in CF cannot be stated enough, regardless of hitting.
2012, we were running out Mason Katz by the end of the season and Stony Brook was finding gaps everywhere.
2013, Mark Laird and Andrew Stevenson... profit

Some people really can’t differentiate between video games and real life.

Kling did exactly what we needed from him tonight. Played solid defense and put the ball in play when we had runners in scoring position. The sacrifice bunt was icing on the cake! He can hit .200 and stay in the lineup if he has games like tonight.

It could be this, but if it is, I'd imagine we see Jake Brown get a shot in CF before we see Bingham there again.

Bingham will play CF again at some point. He was AZ’s primary CF over multiple seasons. He isn’t as bad as he looked last weekend

And he was bad there too.
Weak arm and limited range. I'm not expecting him to boot the ball around like he did in Starkville, but some out balls that are outs with Kling in CF become singles and doubles with Bingham.

There isn’t a situation in the world that I want to see Pearson in center

Weak arm and limited range.
Again, based on Jay Johnson’s perspective.
