You missed a lot. Let’s start with an easy one. Please link specifically where I endorsed Salisbury coaching at lsu?

It’s right above the post where I said you specifically endorsed Salisbury coaching at Lsu.

I don't get half the negative crap posted on this board. I just expect it whether it makes sense or not.

The Rant wisdom is this. If you're not bashing then you must support.

I think the reverse is WAY more true.

People get pissed when something gets criticized the least bit.

If you're criticizing something, you're not supporting LSU.

That's what I've noticed more than anything on here by a lot of people.

But people have their own way of doing things. People will never agree on the right way to do things. It will ALWAYS be that way. In everything in life really.

Have you seen this board this week? And before the season started?

Nah, you're wrong.

Drop the "kind of", but if it helps improve our offense I'm all for it.

why is sean salisbury even being considered for this staff? it is embarrassing that they believe bringing him in would help the offense. we need legit qualified coaches. he must be one of orgeron's buddies; that doesn't help anything.

He starred on the ESPN 30 for 30 documentary, "Broke."

That's all I got.

The article I posted says he can’t be affiliated with recruits for two years before taking that job.

I do not know "who", but my feeling all along was that SE was a "place holder" for the next OC. He did not want the full time gig. IMHO, he will return to part time duties either this coming year or the next and make room for a "chosen" OC without much fanfare.

I agree with this except there WILL be much fanfare.

One of the most impressive segments I have ever heard on sports tv occurred several years ago. An expected guest for a show got caught in traffic and missed being there for his segment. As a “filler”, Salisbury was given this question: you’re a QB just breaking the huddle and walking up to the line. Tell me what you’re looking for on defense and what your adjustments/reaction needs to be. What happened nonstop for the next 15 minutes was an avalanche of info that a QB needs to process. Quite impressive. Bottom line- you don’t need a guy who can throw the ball thru a brick wall. You need a guy who can process info and is capable of making a scuff mark on the correct brick wall.

just tried to find any QB he previously trained online. I couldn't one QB he trained

Grant Gunnell is one of his guys

Well Gunnell has gone from a 5 star to a borderline 3/4 star in one season. Not saying that's on Salisbury. The kid may have been overhyped.

He mention if he’s learned from his mistakes about dong pics at all?

Just the type of guy we need around these college kids.

His years of experience working on college football programs should more than make up for any reputation of being a scumbag though.

Fight on!!!

I guess LSU is not afraid to hire people with baggage I see...

This is at least a step in the right direction.
