If anyone is needed out of the bullpen this weekend, I think Jay will go to them. I don’t think anyone will be held out from coming in relief this weekend just so they can start on Monday or Wednesday.
Hopefully we just take care of business and win big all three games, and not need to go to any of them.

Schmidt looks a little more grown in the face this year. Facing SEC hitters weekly will do that to you

"I love Cooper Williams...he may start next Friday"
Jay Johnson always likes to keep one of his best arms in the bullpen every year but Williams will still compete for a starting gig.
His game is reminscient of Griffin Herring from 2023 & 2024.

where is Rizy fitting in this year. Is he going to be used as the closer? I saw somewhere that he did pretty good in the Cape Cod league this past summer.

Really excited to see Schmidt. Hopefully he has command and can make a big jump this year.
I think we all hope he can get control of his very high potential stuff. But if he doesn’t, there is good depth and a few pretty good options to move up into that spot. Noot and Williams, who really came on late last season, are experienced and have the potential to make a run at the job, along with a few new guys.

I see John Shahrdar was removed from the roster. Was he cut?

I trust JJ to roll with this and make changes if/when needed. LFG!

Was just in the meet the tigers videos last week. That would be crazy if he was no longer on the team. He seemed to pitch ok most outings.

Go be a fan of SCe because of the shitty coaches thing you and a couple others on here would go to when Coaches Committee or whatever yall used to attend under CPM.
Jay taught you and others a lesson about who he is as a coach doubling your daddy’s total titles in 3 years.
