All 5 nominees were given long chance to speak at the podium right before the announcement. And they said the winner would be interviewed live on-air off stage right after the announcement. I was impressed. It was actually a really well done ceremony.
And Joe gave ALL the love to Ensminger during his pre-speech and post-interview. Said that the nominee “should read JoeBrady/SteveEnsminger”.

Proves that only a few ignorant LSU fans believed the crap that Ensminger really called the plays and was the main guy. No one else believed that and each coach's compensation package going forward will exhibit that. Every time the camera goes to the coach's box, you see Ensminger being silent and Brady actually talking. I love Joe Brady and am so excited that he was allowed to fully tap in to Burrow's abilities. Tom Brady would not have succeeded in Miles's or Ensminger's offenses. I am sure that there were some benefits in Ensminger showing Brady some of the non-Xs/Os pieces this season. I am appreciative of that from Ensminger. He seemed to have handled the whole situation with grace. Brady took the same exact players and moved the scoring offensive ranking from 72nd to 3rd in one season. Great job by Orgeron to actually do what he promised, and what an accomplishment for Joe Brady. Pay his arse whatever the hell it takes. LSU fans literally have zero to complain about for the first time, in a long time.
