Grant Delpit

Same selection as a week ago. Delpit needs to clean up some tackling issues but is a versatile playmaker with plus athletic talent.

I like it but with the talk of Brennan having the better arm it makes me wonder. We did see Drew only throw one pass beyond 20 last night so maybe but here is to hoping he is a saint on day.

And Delpit getting drafted behind Fulton
It's like some of you don't understand how draft projections work. Where players at different positions appear relative to each other is related to how they project the needs of teams rather than who is a better player.
Fulton is the 3rd CB projected and Delpit is the first Safety projected. As another poster noted, CBs are more valuable than safeties to most coaches/GMs/player personnel directors.

This young man's life and football career are going to be great, and it's mostly due to his hard work and determination, along with a little help and trust from his coaches. From 3rd string to first round would be such a wonderful story for him, and I hope like hell it happens. He deserves it.

We need a fark of Joe Burrow in a Saints jersey stat

Not about burrow but I think this guy thought fulton was derek stingley during the texas game. "Fulton had a dazzling effort against the gigantic Collin Johnson in LSU's win and is capable of excelling in any type of coverage."

Potential graduate transfer qbs should take notice of JB's journey. LSU gonna be a destination for another Burrow qb that we would need.

Delpit at 14 is absolutely retarded.

Slides to the saints? jesus, first round wouldn't be a slide.
Look around and get some opinions from some people that spend all there time evaluating draft eligible players. This isnt a common evaluation, and yes, I'm talking after the Texas game too.
It would be awesome if he went in the first couple rounds.

Why is despite at 14 retarded. For a safety to go top 15 then there's gonna have to be a heavy need there fora bunch of teams for someone to pull the trigger that early look at draft history. Look at derwin james, delpit is a similar prospect, safety talent wise.

If he does end up going first round, every high QB prospect in America will be looking at LSU with very serious consideration

Please pick him up Saints. I’d love to see him succeeding the GOAT.

I’m not one for getting overexcited. This is gonna sound crazy and I’ve tried to talk myself out of it, but Joe Burrow really reminds me of Joe Montana. Not sure if it’s the blonde hair and slim build, but I think it’s the pinpoint passing, mobility and swagger.

Thanks for the magic 8 ball there, Biff. Glad you can spit "facts" at us. At this rate, he has looked very good. Obviously it'll be more telling once he hits SEC play, but he is flourishing in an offense that replicates the NFL. That to me, is a perfect fit along with the fact that he's tough and a leader.

Wow what a turnaround since this time last year! A lot of ranters were dogging him for not completing enough passes, and assured us there was no way he'd be drafted.
Damn I'm glad he's here.

How can Tennessee be that atrocious and have 2 potential first rounders?
