THERE IS NO CLOSED PRIMARY FOR GOVERNOR ! ONLY FOR FEDERAL ELECTIONS! A republican challenge to Landry will have to be an open primary and that’s the problem. Landry much better than JBE with crime economy and the anti woke stuff but we need a Republican not tied to the trial bar but I doubt one will challlenfe him in an open primary

If UL was known nationally like LSU, he would have been all over the TV lashing out about how our university “leadership” has been screwing up the budget for years and likely doing shady backdoor deals. And I would agree with him. But alas, he wants what brings him national attention, and unfortunately for y’all, LSU will do that.

Is this entire thread the work of bots, or are all of you that big of moron’s? You think Jeff Landry is sabotaging LSU, and is not absolutely killing it for the state of Louisiana by just about every metric out there?!
It’s low iq dickheads like you that continue to run your dumbass mouths with little to no time reading about true issues and legislation going on in and around you ever! And then you’re allowed to walk into the voting booth every four years and vote in corrosive, delusional, self serving and divisive idiots like Bel Edwards.
Then the grown ups like Jeff Landry/Trump have to go in and spend so much valuable time cleaning up the mess and working their asses off just to try to get their state back to some semblance of respectability, and for what? Just to have uninformed keyboard jockeys like you bad mouth him over helping
with what absolutely needed to be done? Pull your heads out your asses and grow up!

He hasn’t. I wish he would help us clean out Martin Hall of all the corrupt good ole boys, but again, that’s not something that will get him on Fox News or Pat McAfee.
Though that said, part of me is glad he’s not publicly getting involved, because while it would shine a light, the “fix” he’d push probably would just be an inserting of his favorite good ole boys and cronies.

Too bad Landry is too stupid to realize that LSU football is probably the most important/popular thing in this state and people here will not stand to have an idiot governor try to demolish it for his own political gain. All I can say is good luck getting reelected after all this.

This....100%. It is obvious and blatant and is 100% his priority. What's best for LSU is not.
