This is my concern with the pitch count. I have seen too many times a pitcher throw his most pitches by far ever and it affect him the rest of the way. Hell Matty Ott was a monster until that long arse extra inning game against bama.

He’s a lefty. Lefties have been proven to be able to not be as pussy as right handed pitchers so he’ll be fine.

What’s wrong? Lots of great pitchers can pitch a full game. Skenes did it quite a few times. Nola did it all the time seemed like. So did Lange.
