Don’t you get more practices and a home game?
Why would you throw money and resources into practices that will involve players who won't be here next year?
And a hone game would be worse. Would 500 people even show up?

A spokesperson cited the team’s current injury situation and limited available players on the roster as the primary reason for turning down the bid.
“Injury situation”. LOL.
The players are done and don’t want to waste time practicing/preparing for one more useless game. Especially if it was going to be a home game in front of 1,000. The state of the program is at absolute rock bottom.

I know many on here think that’s the right move. I don’t. I would have liked to watch them again. I don’t care if they lost, it would have been another chance to see my favorite team play (no matter how bad they are).
It just shows the complete shite show the current state of men’s basketball is. The players and coaches have all given up on each other and I suspect most of the players are ready to move on to greener pastures for next season.

I'm hearing the Team has decided to focus on their excercise science degrees to finish the spring semester strong.

I did. Maybe I’m misunderstanding, but if you have the same offer between LSU and Auburn.. it’s not close, we aren’t competing for shite

The right thing to do. At 14-18, there were teams with winning records who deserved the spot that LSU would’ve taken. Plus, it probably would’ve been a low seed, gone on the road and gotten blown out. When one of the players posted from the beach, it was a sign that the season had ended.

Im so tired of the blatant lies.
AD is 100% propaganda on mens hoops, because the truth doesnt line up with retaining McMahon.

We would’ve had a home game. Doesnt matter though….
Posted on 3/16/25 at 6:53 pm to KingofZydeco
It would be a complete waste of time and money.

Jeeze - we would have gotten our butts handed to us in embarrassing fashion.

Sadly this has been the best news in the CMM era

There are literally dozens of fans disappointed LSU declined a postseason home game.
LSU didn’t have 2000 people show up to a NIT game in a “good” season for McMahon. How many were going to show for this? Honestly, I doubt they could have drawn 1,200 fans
