I still don’t see a bunch of starters who are future Day 1 or Day 2 NFL draft picks like you saw in our previous teams that made a serious run at it. I do think making the playoffs is very doable though.

It’s in New Orleans sooo , true story both of my boys were born the years we won that middle 2 . Then my nephew was born in 2019 so we realized when my dad has a grandson we win a NC! He passed away in 2017 so didn’t get to see the last one.

I’ve been saying lsu will win the national championship under BK… but BK isn’t going anywhere. I see him winning 2 national championships before he leaves..

I'd love to believe you, but he's what I see:
QB - better
RB - much better
WR - much better
OL - worse, need at least one Tackle.
TE - worse
DT- Much better
DE - Same
CB - Better
LB - Same
Safety - Unfortunately the Same, unless the portal helps.
Our downfall will be the Offensive Line and Safety postions. However, that could change with the portal. We shall see.

Our OL will struggle. Our WR group is mostly brand new. See OL for running game results. Our D sti doesn’t have the depth and overall experience to drastically improve but I think the potential there is greater than most might think.
We will still lose 2 games. Might make playoffs and make a run though. But I would bet anything on it.

Based on what they're doing in portal, it's possible. Top 10 recruiting and top 3 portal class. They should have the talent next year to do it if Nuss takes the next step.

While we have upgraded several positions, especially WR & DB, I wouldn't say we have a National Championship roster. More likely is a playoff team. We are now more close to an average Les Miles team than the 2019 National Championship team.

I'll be happy with just making the 12 team playoff.
Winning the Natty is about as big a pipe dream as I have ever heard.
There would have to be no less than 11 surprise players show up that we have never seen play like that before.
