Why are so many of you shitting on this guy? He was not a great player, but he played for the P&G. To my knowledge he never snapped back at a fan base that gave him a lot of heat. Heat he earned, but no need make fun of the guy.

I know nothing but possible the coaches said they were going to rotate in new players (a lot) and that kind of irked him. Also, do bad grades get players in trouble anymore? I suppose if he pulls a hammy in the game it’s impact his pro day and then he’d have ZERO shot of making the NFL even as an UDFA to play special teams

Plus, he always seemed to give it his best effort. I remember a play where he saved us the game by running down a receiver. Preventing a td. Opposition kicked FG. The 4 point difference decided the outcome.
Full disclosure: I think it was a WR that had beaten Burns early in the play. Anybody remember this?

Yes, I am pretty sure he made the play that won us the Missouri game last year. I wish him well and thank him for playing for the P&G

With the 1st pick in 2025 employee draft, Waste Management selects..........
______________
Waste Management has been a solid stock for past decade. I have made a decent amount of money from them.

Know exactly what play you are referring to.
Burns didn't become the star we hoped for, but loved being in p&g. I wish him well going forward.

He is the reason we beat Bama 2022. Go watch the game when he ran down the dude and they settled for a fg. Bama scores a td there its game. For that Im grateful

Dude will never play another meaningful snap of football in his life, doesn’t make sense to opt out for draft.
This is false. He will play in the nfl.

I salute you MAJOR Burns! Thank you for your service and defending our country and our endzones! Good luck continuing your military career! Who knows, maybe one day you will be Commander and Chief Burns!!

TrouserTrout said he's got a huge problem with this and Daniels last year but ok with Will Campbell opting out, wonder why

The short answer is that he quit on his team with no real reason to do so.

He won't be drafted into the NFL and won't play in the NFL. The poster you contradicted is correct.

He is training for the nfl. That’s a pretty big reason. He has nothing left to prove on film. He is an athletic hybrid. Word is he is getting great feedback from nfl.

Yup. Burns stumbled at beginning of play, then recovered his footing and ran down receiver. Game saving play to beat Bama.

Someone needs to tell the nfl guys talking to him that. Maybe they will change their mind based off 200 guys sitting behind a keyboard on a message board.
