I'm curious to see how open and honest Nussmeier will be about the reasons behind the Tigers lack of offense this last year. He's obviously going to do everything he can to improve his draft stock. With BK being fired, does he have a reason to hold back at all? Are we going to read quotes from anonymous sources?

That’s what his agent is for
Crafting and navigating his meetings with teams up to draft
It’s not a great qb class so I could see a team taking a chance on nuss in the middle rounds of draft

If I’m Nuss I throw BK directly under the bus and then back over him.

Nuss stands to gain nothing by blaming anyone for his performance in any year that he has played. I personally think he has far too much class to engage in that kind of childish thing….

Wouldn’t matter what he could say to me if I saw how he managed his leadership skills last season, or lack there of.

He was arse

I definitely agree with that. But the NFL teams are going to ask why such a drop off in production. Is he going to say it's because of his injury? Is he going to talk about the play calling? Etc

It wasn’t all BK or Sloan or injury. Nuss was also just really bad at times this year

His drop off was due to injury and lack of OL. I’m sure he’ll be mature about it and answer how he should. He’ll recognize that he didn’t play as well as he could have, and probably lost a few reasons why. It’s probably not a great look to blame everyone but yourself, so I doubt he’ll do that.

Nuss still has some pretty good film from his jr year that gives nfl teams more data

NFL also likes qb with a certain amount of collegiate starts

The best approach, I believe, is to honestly tell teams/coaches "between my injury and offensive line woes, I couldn't attempt or complete certain throws, and I was hesitant to run and risk aggravating or further injuring myself. However, I'm fully healed now, all my abilities are back at pre-injury levels, and I look forward to working out for you to prove this."

I would hope that’s what he blames it on. NFL scouts will analyze every play of his career. There’s no bullshitting those guys…..

This is all true but he came in out of shape physically, and mentally played very under prepared for games. And before anyone disagrees, there was a point mid season where there was a big announcement that he was coming in and prepping with the virtual reality set up...MID_SEASON!

Good luck to the young man.

Hopefully he can turn the season into a positive. Despite being injured all
year, he still kept playing because an injured Nuss was still our best QB.

BK was just protecting him by not lettting the other team know he was injured. Allot like Saban did with Davey his junior year, his knee was really not recovered, but Saban didn't want the other team knowing

If you bash your old employer at an interview for a new employer, you’re not getting that job

Nuss was injured. The injury lingered and it obviously affected him. I don't think there needs to be more than that. The NFL guys know things that we don't. They're all privy to info.

How is being truthful throwing someone under a bus?
