I agree. Davis has a very high ceiling, but is a first time starter. He had some really good moments and had some bad moments. To be expected, especially with a team like Clemson.

Will be fun to watch him grow.

The only weakness is LG. But it was not as bad as I thought it would be. Davis will be fine, Just needs a couple more games. They were playing against the best DL in the league, so much better than expected and good enough to win. I think our off will be good enough, but we will win with Baker's Def. We now can win with 17 to 21 points. Nuss will be good for 28+ per game and should have had 24 - 27 in this game.

There’s literally no data to back this up nor a reason to believe this.

It's not necessary for the rant experts. We had one extra special retard with a six figure top ten education on here insisting that Curne was going to start at center. Never mind that he doesn't play center and didn't play center in high school.

If they go 5-7 or 6-6 this year I think I know why

I think Echols is going to eventually take Mubengas job.

He’s really good and I think is going to be tough to keep off the field.

Happy with the OTs all things considered, will continue to get better.

Mubenga’s run blocking is what trashed his overall grade. I think Curne makes an appearance soon somewhere on the OL if even just to put heat on others.

Davis has the athleticism. He was in position and just whiffing alot. He plays a lil too high and was reaching for blocks but going against that sort of speed and strength will do that to most RT. Im with ya trying Curne at LG, I don't understand the hesitation if your going with Chester as your back up tackle.

Great find, so we ended up playing 7 OL, wasn't sure, but thanks for confirming.

Davis got cooked, but will have a few games here to adjust vs guys that aren't going to be NFL draft picks lol

He did not get cooked. I just watched every play of the game on the internet. Did he struggle some? Yes. Was his pass blocking better than his run blocking? Yes. Did he have good moments run blocking and pass blocking? Yes. You have to remember that this man basically did not play at all last year; he played 20 snaps. At times, he just looked very green, but this was against some very good players. I think he will improve every week. If Curne becomes the better option, he should play.

Josh Thompson is the only Sr on the roster, for the OL. We are good for a number of years.

Are we hitting the panic button or are we chalking it up the that being the best DL we'll see for awhile?

There's room for concern, but no reason to panic yet. That's my take on it. Guys will get snaps this week and the line will get better. If not, than maybe we shake it up.

Did we also bench Ciron Black after his first start?

Weston is super athletic and raw. He’ll grow into a great player throughout the season, just needs reps

It goes to show you if you can keep the center of the pocket clean and not have it implode a QB is a lot more effective. Chester was a really bad center last year. The worst center I can remember at LSU.
