19-11 is a top 8 seed? I don’t think that’s accurate

MSU, Auburn, Texas, Georgia, and Arkansas look to be the teams to beat this year in the SEC

But ill say they win 18 this year with having to replace your Friday and Saturday starters.
Most teams lost one or two starters. If your UGA you lost almost your entire pitching staff. This isn’t your game of old. Most teams have tons of new faces

2-1 at vandy
3-0 vs OU
2-1 vs Kentucky
2-1 at UTk
2-1 at OM’
2-1 vs TA&M
1-2 at State
3-0 vs SC
2-1 at UGA
2-1 vs UF
We don’t lose a series.
21-9
Win the SEC reg season & tournament.
Top to bottom this is Jays most talented team. Doesn’t have the superstars of 2023 but overall talent is the best of his tenure.

Auburn has a really good position player group returning, and their pitching staff should have more talent this year. I think they’re a very real Omaha candidate.
I think people are way too high on State and I think Wes Johnson is a weirdo baby back bitch who will never win big.

Winning 20 plus games out of 30 in SEC is not very common.
So uncommon that LSU has yet to do it under Jay

No lol. That’s why I asked what your point was. You clarified. I thought you were saying that it was meant as a negative for this season. I was gonna call BS. Of course we could lose any series. It’s the SEC. As can anyone else in the conference.

All depends on how the lineup comes together. Right now there are going to be 4 guys in the lineup that have proven they can be consistently good college hitters. Milan, Brown, Curiel, and Stanfield. Outside of those you really have a bunch of questions. The talent is there but finding the right 1-9 might take awhile.
Pitching is going to be good. Might be great depending on how big of a jump the sophomores made.

This sums it up well.
I'll go with 20-10. We had more question marks coming into '25 than we do now.

If we get to 20 SEC wins with this schedule then you’re talking about being in the running for #1 overall seed

I think yorke, Simpson, and dardar are pretty much known commodities . caraway is also a pretty sure thing and then you have they kid Braun I think is the guy, hes a freshman thats been the best hitter on the team ,by far, this preseason.
