Someone from the same board claimed that UCF would have still gone undefeated last year if they played in the SEC West...and he was serious about it...and people agreed with him.

After reading that, those folks lost all credibility.

If seems to work out alright.

Plug and play on offense and we easily could be 11-1 right now and in the CFP.

I’ll take it every year

That's an absolutely ridiculous statement by a completely ignorant fanbase that has never had to compete with the big boys week in and week out to actually win a national championship. Not a self proclaimed one.

Another thing about LSU is their profiling, lol. Get one good Aussie punter, by-god from now on we must have Aussie punters. The last one didn't work out very well but hey, he was an Aussie.

Now we are stuck on mediocre Yankee quarterbacks....

This is literally the opposite of true re: LSU. Our problem is that we let our identity as a power run football team prevent us from making adjustments and attacking opponent weaknesses.

Identity and results are not the same thing.

Alabama doesn’t seem to have a problem with it.

True but the Negatiger trash has made them experts with the identity. We certainly have an identity on D with DBU, LBs (DW40, Phillips soon to be Starks etc.) Fierce pass rush (Arden and when K'Lavon is healthy). On offense it is WC with RPO that is having issues executing with the OL being what it is. I think Jeaux Jeaux has brought some identity to the QB position with his intelligence, running in RPO packages and has a nice intermediary passing game. To say that we are totally devoid of identity is an intellectual fail.

We've had way more than you would expect a team to have in a 9 year span

Crowton
Stud
Cam
Canada
Ensminger

5 OCs in 9 years, and LSU's offense has looked like a garbage dump. Not one of these coaches were known for consistently great offenses. Also none of them were known as college QB gurus.

LSU coaches do this to themselves. We'll go after promising guys who had yearly great COLLEGE defenses in Chavis, and Aranda, but we don't ask the same of our offensive guys. Hell even Pelini had top defenses with Nebraska and Oklahoma.

I just hope my team can muster up any sort of energy after being displaced by the invitational committee. All the players looked disappointed at the selection show.

Not relevant if the guy at the top is great. AL and Patriots are a prime example.

Do Alabama fans care that Pruitt leaves then Locksley in consecutive years?

Problem with LSU is that without good coordinators we are in trouble.
