The numbers seem odd. Ole Miss reportedly offered between $13 and 13.5 per.
LSU offering 90 for 7 (12.8 per) would seem too low, but 90 for 6 (15 per) seems to be overkill.

Florida is still in the mix too. They've been too quiet. Think they're going to match everything. At this point, it might come down to where he sees himself being. I think he wanted to be able to finish the season and then worry about the rest. He knew Ole Miss couldn't/wouldn't fire him so he used his leverage.
Also I believe Ole Miss has been making some moves as well anticipating this. All i can say is I hope Auburn has been doing their due diligence .
