True freshman in a god awful system.

I watched about 20 min of this game and saw two of the INTs. It aint system problem when you throw the ball right to the guy in the other colored jersey. There was no extravagant coverage. He got his bell rung a couple times and started throwing it under pressure to the defense...

Burrow 2018 vs Burrow 2019

Burrow in 2018 still made veteran decisions with the ball, the difference in 2019 was the aggressive scheme that played to the entire team's strengths.

Underwood is also a freshman, so there's no telling how much meat is still on the bone. Hard to compare him to a 4th year senior who had a historic 5th year season.

Apples =/= Oranges.

Yes, he is a very young and talented player. Lane would do wonders with him

Overrated...
No doubt.

Oh, and has no loyalty or chest ( as another Michigan man would say)

The 12 million equivalent is
If you made 200k a year and spent $20. Added bonus. your wife did all kinds of sexual inducements for you to spend $20.

He’s a true freshman and you’re reacting after one game. There’s not too many true freshmen ever that just set the world on fire without having some growing pains. Jury is still out on how he’ll be, but he’s talented.

True freshman that led his team to a 9-4 record with a run first offense. Yes I would take him and his talent. Did you not see how that freshman competed against a top SEC defense? We had a 5th year senior that played way worse.

Mike himself would be a fool to turn down $12 million.

It’s easy to sit on a computer and say we would remain loyal to a school hours away from home, but all that changes when large amounts of money is being offered to you.

Are you under the impression that A) Underwood’s season is even close to Burrows 2018 Or B) that burrows leap has frick all to do with other QBs development

C - Underwood’s true freshman season is light years better than Burrow’s. Burrow did not play a meaningful snap until his 4th year of college as a junior. Underwood was thrown into live action as an 18 year old and played every snap.

Certainly not saying Underwood will be 2019 Burrow, but you can’t compare their “first year” of college football.

Nope, Underwood is all about cash. Then NFL. No pride to play accept not to get hurt. I would rather have Chambliss or Leavit.

That won't be Kyle Whittingham, who is a defense-first coach that likes to gut it down the middle old-school style. Underwood will be under-utilized under Whittingham.
