You guys are quick to throw around that our new offense is similar to what you guys see in the Big12 but I can promise you one thing, this defense is off the charts compared to the Big12. So throw that into your assessment lol.

Not all TRanters are obnoxious, but most on this thread are. Thank you for posting your honest opinion. There are some of us out here who appreciate this.

I'll be there with a group of 4 of us in P&G in UT section 108. Looking forward to a great game!

I

That's a weird way of looking at it and seems like a fan's way of talking himself into believing his team can win.

I don't think anyone thinks LSU's offense is going to win on scheme alone. And, Big 12 offenses are good...but they put up the numbers they do more so because Big 12 defenses are very bad.

The differentiator in this game is LSU's defense. THAT'S what Texas doesn't see much of. If Texas is able to move the ball well and not be overwhelmed by LSU's defense, I expect that this will be a close game and Texas will have a chance to win it.

The other key is LSU OL. If it functions, LSU is probably going to put enough points on the board to win. If Texas dominates that matchup, then we're in for a close game.

And, LSU doesn't care that much about A&M. A&M is a lot closer to the Mississippi schools than it is to the top echelon of the SEC. And, frankly, they are weird with the homosexuality and stuff. Overall, the cultures of the two fanbases just don't mix well.

A&M isn’t are rival. Year after year LSU beats their arse. One fluke game last year where the refs butchered that game won’t change that

checks out.

Get out of here with that goody goody nonsense. Its game week. You rub the other teams faces in the dirt and step on their hand when you walk over them.

Haha, aTm wishes we thought that highly of them.

They needed a series of blatant and horrible officiating calls in a 7OT game to go against LSU just to break their 7 game losing streak against us.

Welcome to the board though. The game will be good. I have looked at Texas Football 2019 team, and they're good. I want the Tigers to beat you, yes. But, then, I want you guys to crush Oklahoma. Please.

Not a huge running threat.

Where do you arse clowns keep coming up with this info from. LSU went pass heavy last week and alternated drives between 5 running backs all of which produced nice runs and catches for yardage. We have two freshman running backs that are going to be studs and even when clyde gets rolling he can cause defenses problems. I hope yall keep thinking this cause LSU is about to wear yalls defense down with the run attack then throw the ball as they please

Besides that welcome to the board and i tend to agree to an extent besides A&M being our arch rivals

I can't speak for all Tiger fans, but I suspect you may be misreading the nature of the enthusiasm Tiger fans have for the offense in BR this year. Many of us simply don't care that it is similar to Big 12 offenses; if anything, we are pleased as punch for it to look that way. Our concern has long been that we have had an utterly antiquated offense that made it really hard to compete against elite teams. At least for many of us, we are ecstatic that the O looks like it has finally moved on from the Stone Age. Whether it does or doesn't bear some resemblance to Texas Tech (or whomever) is of no moment.

While everyone wants to write off the Georgia game it definitely has the team thinking they can play with SEC athletes in an underdog role whether we think it's been overemphasized or not.

I get it, but don't they know that we beat UGA worse than Y'all did?

I've seen this a lot. But I looked up the stats from last year and UT was 110th in pass D last year. So this rationale doesn't make sense to me. What good is it that they're used to it if they aren't good at defending it?

What position does Herman play...lol

I think that the only way UT gets pressure on LSU passing is by cleverly disguised blitz packages. I do not see them bull rushing the O-line so much, but i could be mistaken.

I think you will see LSU receivers behind the UT secondary enough to loosen the safeties and open the run game.

Aranda has to have a great game plan to neutralize the UT offense. I think he will try to make SE beat the defense by passing. That could lead to sacks and turnovers.

We'll all see Saturday. BTW, surlyhorns easily has as many a$$holes as TD...

Tsip. Are you an Aggie?

By the way, the Texas A&M thing was a complete joke and making fun of the rivalry that they have manufactured with you.

What's interesting about your replies is that you guys are being exactly what you say Texas fans are which is irrationally overconfident. I'll come back for mine if it isn't close.

Top yards per carry vs atrocious competition? 3.2 ypc
Yeah, seems like dominance.

You'll argue just like a Texas fan will argue that the full plyabook wasn't on display but even so that's terrible.

My bad. Way better. 3.4ypc.

Should be a red flag just like us giving up all those passing yars. Spin away.
