Alabama, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Missouri are the 8 SEC teams I was talking about earlier.
Tennessee and LSU would come in at a 68.9211% clip.
SEC Championship truly is the real NCAA Football Championship game!!

Mendoza just won the Heisman.

This isn’t 2011. The top half of the SEC is the weakest it has been in 30 years.

Refs didn’t call a lot of obvious holds. Not sure that is a good thing

Indiana took the money the spent on basketball and used it for football instead

Look at Cignetti’s coaching history. Deer antler spray ftw.

Buckeye play calling is as bad as ours
The coaching tonight for OSU was terrible. Absolutely terrible.
Made the game way harder on Sayin than it should have been.
Predictable at critical times of the game.
And horrible decision to go for 4th and 1 when they have struggled to drive the field and were in great FG range and could tie the game in the 4th.
Also questionable use of the timeouts in second half. First time out they called did nothing but help Indiana.

Yep, refs now "manage" the games for the monied!!

I agree. The lack of speed from IU and Ohio State was noticeable.

Your saying they seem more fresh because they are due to their schedule they are literally only playing 4-5 tough games a year that they have to get up for I didn’t say it Caleb downs said that
Caleb Downs is not an authority on the topic. IU is #1 in SOS. They seem more fresh because they are motivated and play like it. They earned credit on the field.

Id love to see either one of these teams play with SEC refs.

Indiana is an old, grown arse man team. Average age 23.5 years old. Many started college in schools not in the power 5 and most were 3 stars or less. They are a group of players that like football and aren’t in a rush to get to the league. Maybe one or two will get a look at the NFL. Just grown men with 5 plus years experience looking to kick the arse of a NIL superstar.

Indiana better team

They are a good team, no doubt , but it helps to have strength of schedule in the mid 40s - 50s.
Their one significant " regular season" opponent was Oregon, maybe you can count Illinois too
They didn't play Michigan or Ohio State during the regular season.
Less likely to get beat
Added to that a decent QB , some experienced players, pretty good transfers, and luck in the injury department. You got a team that was similar to TCU's run a few years ago.
With the way NIL is now, you're going to have these afterthought programs that will have magical seasons.
Take a look at Texas Tech.
Look what they're doing with bought players and Oklahoma and Texas not a threat in their conference anymore.

Ok, so they do. this is a bad, ignorant take and not why Indiana is damn good. Their roster is nothing but 3 stars. It’s not a roster bought with huge dollars. It’s a roster that is incredibly well put together and extremely well coached.

That Indiana QB is the real deal.
The third & 8 throw from his own 5 yard line with about 13 mins left in the game was the play of the game.
Flushed to his right with a guy short in the flat and he found an open man downfield for about 10 yards.
They don’t get that first down and OSU is taking the lead in the next drive IMO.

The SEC is just a more powerful conference. You have cornbread fed MONSTERS cracking each other every week. You look at Indiana and Ohio State, much different physicality from them and their opponents. It’s genuinely as simple as that.

As an SEC guy, I love the fact that Indiana and Texas Tech have earned their way. Makes the upcoming games much more interesting.

Pavia is much better than Mendoza and Sayin.
