What are their numbers in Omaha?
Well if you do that we have by far the best pitching staff.

Arm talent isn't the issue. Pitching is. They got guys who can throw upper 90's, but how do they perform under pressure with 2 on and 1 out in the 6th inning of a tie game?

Stop trying to play the numbers and statistics game to settle your nerves and justify how we will win.
LSU fans should know better than anyone at this point that on this stage the stats are thrown out (our bullpen). One team is going to want it more than the other, and that is who will win.

Don’t know why people are down voting you. You’re right. A lot of our arms were effective because the wind kept everything in the ball park. Herring alone would have given up 2 or 3 bombs if the wind wasn’t blowing in at 20 mph. Whoever downvoted is either delusional or didn’t watch the last 3 games.

I’m wondering what the record for CWS futility is…he has to be challenging it.

And last year? Waldrep is a Monster

Sure hope this team doesn’t feel that way. Beating Florida would just be the icing on the cake.

I think if they had been on the other side of the bracket, it would have been an lsu/wake final series.

I don’t mean we played the Ship and we should settle, I mean we played the best we’re going to see.

Agree with everything you said except this. I think both want it more than anything. It is not a matter of want.
This game is a matter of breaks created by execution. Wake had several barreled up balls off of Hurd and none found grass. LSU looked lost until Crews hit and White’s bomb.
Staying the course and execution of the plan. That’s the best you can do. If you win, great. If you lose, move on to the next pitch

You guys are something. Geez.
STOP COMPARING THEM FROM THE SEC TO OTHER CONFERENCES!
Um... Lindsey and Beam play for Tennessee. And both put up better or similar numbers to Florida's pitchers against similar competition.
UFs staff ERA in the CWS is 3.67 (11 ER in 3 games). LSUs staff ERA in the CWS is 1.6 (8 ER in 5 games).

LSU has a tall task vs UF...a weekend series without Skenes.
It’s a lot taller than most on here want to acknowledge. Essentially like a playing a football game without your starting QB. We got to play our starting QB against Wake and Tenn. LSU wins this series with Skenes rested and available.

Waldrep is pitching the best out of all of floridas arms. Throw the numbers out at this point. Its waldrep, then sproat, then cags, in that order of effectiveness
Absolutely true at this time of year. It’s all about who is hot.

I posted this on the Facebook yesterday morning.
We've faced much better pitching than a fully rested UF team. Just gotta "do our deal" and go beat em.

We have a lot of pitchers with grisly ERAs who absolutely shoved this week when it mattered most. UF has really good arms and we need to take that seriously
Yep. After seeing what our pen has done in the post season, I’m much more interested in seeing how they pitched recently than the whole season.

Playing in a park like Omaha’s(where the ball travels less) it’s less of a factor not having Skenes. It’s more important to challenge hitters and throw strikes. Our pitchers have done that. If they haven’t it’s been next man up.

I personally believe Florida is a better team than Wake
