Quick question. Was Tre Morgan forced to make some kind of strange angled through because the runner ran on the inside of the baseline. If not I just feel like that was a very awkward looking play.

I've been called all kinds of names for this approach in the past, specifically for Les Miles who should have been fired 5 years earlier than he was. History is repeating itself. LSU always waits too long to pull the trigger. It's usually pretty clear when your head coach can no longer compete for championships.

Everything Tre does on the infield is awkward but it has worked. He was so awkward at 1B in high school that they found every chance they could to put him in the OF. It really comes down to how you really look at it.
