for one, that's what you have review for. Anything that isn't balls and strikes (pretty much) can be reviewed. There were multiple times this year Paul didn't ask for a review and we didn't get a second look at a play we should have.
Second, it shows the coach is going to bat for his guys. He's not sitting back and letting them get railroaded on calls. It fires the players up and makes them want to play for their coach more.

asking for a review is completely different than running out of the dugout making an arse of yourself, and then asking for a review after you've been a douchebag for a minute or 2.

You guys are so desperate to hire a great coach that you are overlooking a lot of actual issues with this guy.
You must have watched a lot of Tennessee baseball this year to be talking with that much certainty. Have you or are you just talking out of your arse?
Also people like you who act like coaches cussing is some crazy bad thing are hilarious.

I am on the fence with Vitello's antics. He's pretty much said all the right things to the media. It seems like he wants to climb out of the reputation.
... That being said, the assistants he hired (as seen today in the CWS today) haven't helped. Also, that Gilbert HR bat flip pimp job / take a minute to run the bases bullshite during the regional was pathetic and classless. Celebrate with your team after you run the bases. That was his assistant and his player.

When he wins and is YOUR guy he is no longer a douchebag but just passionate. Also he had to create an identity at UT to fire up the fans and play with a chip on the shoudler. He won't have to do that at LSU.
