Let's say we keep throwing the ball and Nuss throws a pick, then the retards here are screaming about how we should've tried to establish the run.

So now to justify what you had said earlier, you are speaking in total hypotheticals. Get real pal

I'm saying fans are going to criticize any decision that doesn't result in a win, whether it was the right decision or not.

Pretty distinct difference between posts describing specifics of how we should be more creative running the ball vs irrational posts blaming players. If you want to ask someone ask someone who actually said that since I never did though for the record I agree with those who did, but I'm not an expert on play design to give you specifics.

That's about what I thought.

Sure it is. Fans don't actually know enough about what's going on to know if it's good coaching or bad coaching.

They think winning is good coaching and losing is bad coaching. That's why this board swore Ed Orgeron had turned it around and became a good football coach after 2019.

What is? That you can't address what I actually said and only replied to the part you wanted to? That you can't address the people who are experts saying we need more creativity and you think it's somehow validation that I can't specifically tell you how we need to be more creative?

Here from another post "true toss sweeps instead of the short tosses? jet sweeps? less dives? more counter traps? counter treys? more misdirection?"

That was obvious to everyone on Sunday but in typical Rant fashion most have done a 180 and reverted back to excuse making.

I don’t think LSU‘s coaching is as bad as the doomsday crew on this board would want everybody to believe

It’s just good enough to never be great

Maybe we get a fluky year when there are no great teams out there and we make a run

But we are not elite now and our trajectory ain’t either

They ran many of those concepts on Sunday, that game was the most creative running game I've seen at LSU since BK was hired.

I'm asking you, you seem to believe they should be more creative in the run game, what specifically would you like to see?

I would like to see more snaps from under center or from at least a pistol formation. I would also like for Nuss the pull the ball every once in a while to keep the DE honest.

No. No they didn’t.

They just executed on opportunities and we didn’t. It happens.

They were better that day, but I’ll take our staff 10/10 times.

I'll take Riley's offense for sure. The S & C coach seemed to really do a good job with the USC boys.
Defense, I will take Baker but I hope he stops with the rush 3 DL and prevent zone when you have to stop a team from scoring.

IMHO, USC had slightly better players and slightly better coaching. That's why they out-scored their opponent 14 to 3 in the decisive 4th Quarter.

Miller Moss was better in that game than Nuss. Period. End of Story. Did you not see the 20 yd bullet he threw on a 3rd down with Weeks in his face? That was a play they needed and he made it. Nuss had 4 opportunities to make plays like that and he didn't. Hopefully he learns from watching film and gets better for it. The 2 one handed catches by their receiver?! Those were also huge plays and changed the game. Riley is one of the premier offensive coaches in the game so I'll give you that but I said it before and I'll say it again despite the bad calls by the refs, despite the stupid penalties by our players, despite the one handed catches by their receiver, we had 4 plays that if executed result in 2-3 TD's. That is why I am not melting like a lot of these Midol eating wusses. Question is will they learn from this loss and win their next 4 games including OM. WE will see.

Disagree. Their players made some incredible plays while ours played within the system.

To me, it seemed like their playmaking ability gave them the edge and the win. Could we have coached better, sure? But if their players didn't make some incredible plays, we would have won.

Does Riley win if he was calling the LSU plays?

I think so.

If the staffs would’ve switched teams before the game LSU would’ve won by 2TDs or more.

I think this narrative is wrong. I think LSUs roster is indeed better, but it's closer than some want to give credit for. I also think, while Riley is a better offensive mind, Kelly is a better overall coach thank Riley. But that too is close.

The difference is the game last weekend, for two very evenly matched teams, was 1) player discipline (letting emotions win over a level head and "team-first" mentality), 2) a handful of absolutely incredible catches by USC receivers and 3) a couple of forced fumbles fortuitous bounced back to USC's side.

The game was close enough that ANY of those things not being true, the result of the game is different.
