Another 9 win season and no playoff and people will be starting to call for his head.

With his contract, I doubt any realistic outcome in 2025 (8-4 or better) would put him on the hotseat with our AD.

If he doesn't at least contend this year for a championship, then I feel like he is Dinardo. A coach that got us pointed in the right direction, but needed someone like Saban to continue to build and take us to new heights. CBK will have stabilized the program and just need the next coach to take us to Championship level.

I think he survives a loss to Clemson if he only loses one other game. It also depends on what kind of loss it is. Are we competitive and play well or do we make stupid mistakes and get run off the field. Especially if those mistakes can be tied back to decisions by the coach or apparent bad preparation for a game.

Some people are clueless,Kelly is the best Head Coach hire since Saban and before that Arnsparger. LSU could wind up with another Farmer Fran Fishin' Hole Coach and be The Joke of College Football.

What would it take Brian Kelly to be on the hotseat?

Go
DOWNVOTED because this topic is about as fresh as the seafood department at your local Albertsons.

8-4 THIS SEASON, he won't be on hot seat if he goes 9-3 hell he might make the SEC title game and playoff with that record, he almost did last season before choking away Florida

I hate to say it, but even if this team bombed and went 6-6 this year, while on a scorching hot seat, Kelly still wouldn't be fired after the season.
Woodward is the bigger problem. If Kelly ends up being a failure, then Woodward needs to be the first one to go.

I’d say he’s already on a warm seat. Another opening season loss (especially if there are multiple mistakes), would put him on a hot seat

Not making the playoffs
He'll lose the fanbase, almost entirely, if he misses the playoffs this year. Not sure if that translates into getting fired this year but he would be in a very bad spot.

He has gotten LSU out of the basement, which is fine so far as that goes, but otherwise, he has accomplished exactly nothing. If they lose to Clempson, well...it will be another playoffless season.

I see nothing in your post with which to disagree. To this point, he has really been a fail.

If WE don't make the CFP, BK will either Retire or Resign with a Settlement a la Orgeron. He won't be back without a CFP appearance.

O left LSU on the verge of being an absolute dumpster fire.

im saying its so important that I dont think teams spend enough time on it. its literally the difference between winning every game in a season besides maybe one of the blowout losses we seem to have every year .

Playoffs, simple. With 4 out of 5 replacements on the OL, I see 3 to 4 losses. They are not as good as last years group. Not really much good depth. RB's will not be able to run as we would like and less time for Nuss in the pocket. Anytime you replace 4 out of 5 on the OL, I do not care who you are, you will have issues. Zero game snaps for this group. Chemistry. This will be CBK's way to another lack luster year for Tiger fans and his seat gets even warmer
are you the one who thinks atm will get every recruit and we will get none. youre always wrong
