Eyanson looked good yesterday after a rough start

What rough start? He never gave up an earned run

I feel like everybody is forgetting that we had this same problem when we won it all in 23. Cooper sucked for most the year and was arguably the Omaha mvp. Hurd got benched as a starter and ended up starting the championship game. Herring was our only legit bullpen arm, Ackenhausen was inconsistent and they all showed up when it mattered. I agree it looks bad right now but it can get better

No he wasn’t. Everybody hated cooper before Omaha. He was like 4-3 with a 6 run ERA. He wasn’t unplayable bad but he was no better than average. The biggest thing he brought to the team was Omaha experience from his Arizona days

After 2023, anything can happen with a bad bullpen. They do need to throw some damn strikes though.

This is Johnson's MO. He prefers to win with offense.

We are currently at #33 fielding % at .978

#20 ERA at 3.74

#17 WHIP at 1.23

#7 Strike outs/9 innings

Not bad for a guy who only cares about offense

All you had to do was call a hitting TO or argue something with the ump and Floyd was a done until the CWS

This is a little misleading. Ty was good for the majority of the season. He had a few outings where he got squeezed and then couldn’t recover but he was a very good Saturday starter.

How quickly people forget how effective he was as the Saturday starter. It wasn’t just the CWS where he performed well.

Curiel is gonna be gone if he continues down this path. There are others like Brown will be gone, Milam, and others after next season.

You realize Jay is a pretty great recruiter you think he’s not going to bring other guys in? Also, only having a 1 year window was stated and you’re listing guys here for 2 more years.

Point still stands. They sucked jn 2023 in the mid season. In fact, ERA for the pitching staff was 0.70 higher.

I remember when baseballs threads didn't suck.Ahh, the good ole days.

I haven't given up on Schmidt. The kid has talent. Noot is coming on. Rizy seems to be cutting down on walks.
