Talking heads keep saying Taylor is safe, well liked by the players & head office. The GM is getting a lot of the blame & the owner is known as a super cheapskate. The Bengals for years had the smallest number of scouts, with strict limits on their expenses. They were the last team in the League to get an indoors practice facility & it's far from elite.

How do you figure?
Because they don’t spend anywhere close to the salary cap on salaries.
You do realize that the salary cap only prevents teams from going over it. It doesn’t mean they have to actually spend that amount.
The Bengals spend significantly less than the cap than virtually all the other teams. They are cheap as hell.

How is he not committed to winning, he is the main reason they win when they do. Unfortunately I believe their playoff hopes die today. Both teams have a high probability of winning today but if KC sits starters you never know. But the Jets, geez.

I see you are looking at numbers for next season not this season. They have kept cap space for 2025 because they are trying to sign Chase and Higgins to massive contracts.

They have some of the worst facilities in the NFL. They did not even have their own indoor practice facility until 2020. They are consistently graded in the bottom five every year by the NFLPA. They treat families of players like shite, they have no dietician on staff, and until last season, the locker room was the worst in the NFL.
Mike Brown and his family have proven time and time again they are the cheapest owners in the NFL. They have made some recent improvements to bring them up to average in some areas, so time will tell if other changes are made.

They need another receiver, Oline and Dline help but they are the BUNGLES and suck as an organization nearly as long as I can remember that shithole organization.

Because he is taking 55 million a year. At the time the highest per year for a player. If he was serious about winning he would have work a deal that left money to give him some
More weapons and upgrades to his OL and defense. When you get the money levels we are talking about 5 year 250 million it is basically Monopoly money. If you really want to win a championship or at least give yourself a decent chance take a little less and get some help.
