Yeah, we are not done with the turmoil. Not by a long shot.

Clear eyes overcame emotion. Global trade is still fricked.
Yea no way it could be profit taking after a massive rally, right?

The market realized that a 10% global tariff is still insane and 125% on China is bat shite crazy. We’re freezing out our largest trading partner? For what?

I feel better I didn’t miss out yesterday. Anyone buying today or waiting?

Probably some of that, can’t argue your point. That said, the institutional guidance has been reiterated….we still face major headwinds and a recession, coupled with inflation from tariffs, is likely.
Do you comprehend how much China manufactures? How much we import from them? And a 10% global tariff is still in place.

The Chinese tariffs are going nowhere. Not even Biden removed trump 1.0’s tariff on China.
Trade with China is going to drop to zero as supply chains move to other nations.

I bought SWPPX last Friday at $78.15.
I bought 40 shares of SCHD at 25.65.
$1025.96. total.
I would have bought lower but the price went up faster than I could enter the buy market order.
lol

i bought yesterday and will buy again if it drops more or starts heading back up. you are way too emotional. it has been laid out here you do not just buy on way down. you buy on way up also. add to winning positions. you sitting around waiting on a bottom will be still waiting as it goes up losing out on gains.

I entered FANG and VLO this morning almost at 2-year lows.

Been buying small amounts of VLO since about 115.

I like them both for longer hold dividend plays. Strong companies.
FANG could be an acquisition target by a supermajor like CVX or XOM down the road. XOM just recently paid $60B to buy PXD (Pioneer Natural Resources), so they may let that digest for a bit first before looking at the next meal.

Per the plan I am back to my 72% S & P Index within the 401K, taking the second increment of profits on the dip.
Given your opinion, I will not suggest joining me by jumping in on the next 10% drop in the market but I will eagerly do it again. Warmest regards.

In case you missed it, we did not. Market close is greater than 6100 today.
I can't imagine what information that you had to support that conclusion.
