Buy one apartment complex, increase total number of real estate doors to 35 (25 currently).

We’ve got to get estate planning started ie beginning with wills being updated. We’ve got 3 adult children and our wills only include one — they’re that outdated.

In 2025, I paid off both cars (about $15K total), bolstered savings to 6 months expenses and started to escalate debt payoff. I was fortunate enough to have some extra income that appears to be running in to 2026.
In 2026, I’m eligible to fund an HSA thanks to the Big Beautiful Bill, so my goal is to fully fund it, continue paying down debt and increase contributions to my Roth. We’re taking my graduating senior on a trip to Vegas, so paying for that will take away from the others a little.

Your money not mine. No way I would pay for Greek Life with my money

Like I said to each their own and it’s your money not mine. I would def pay for college and finance anything they need for academics. Anything non academic they can get a job and pay for it themselves. I would pay insurance, medical dental and car.

Would? This implies you have not yet put a child through college. I can assure you what you say you would do and what you will actually do when that time comes may be 2 totally different things.
"ill never pay for a car for my kids, they'll have to earn it" If I had a dollar for every time I heard that when my friends had small kids. Different story when they turned 16.

I can assure you I am never paying for a sorority or a frat for kids. That’s d7mb IMO and not for my money. I will help in any way for their schooling that will help academically. But Greek life no thank you. If you want that get a part time job. Tuition, room, board, car and all insurances will be taken care of by me but not Greek life

I want my stock holdings up 20% in 2 years, so will be satisfied with 5-10% this year.
Will get kid #3 graduated from expensive college and redirect those funds to paying down some persistent HELOC debt.
Start saving in wife's 457(b) in addition to maxing out both our 401ks.

-Decreased my company Roth 401k contributions to 5% and will place 100% of my net in a brokerage account to accomplish a few things:
1. To have some liquidity if I retire early.
2. Have an another bucket to draw from in retirement.
3. Test run to see if we can live completely on 1 income.

If I can repeat 2025, then I will be extremely pleased. To put a number to it: Grow net worth by 20%.
And if I can figure out how to keep my homeowner’s insurance from going up exponentially that would be great.

Continue to max all tax deferred accounts while
Get oldest through 2nd year of college
Get youngest first vehicle
Survive insurance increase
For investing try to grow my fun money account to $100k from $75k. My thesis is going to focus on AI/memory, nuclear, dollar debasement and energy/w a lean into natural gas.

Why are you paying for a sorority? That’s not educational and she doesn’t need to be in.
You sound like a lot of fun. If the kid is staying out of trouble and making their grades, I think paying for their sorority is perfectly reasonable.

So someone down-voted my goals. Lol.
My goals are my goals. I know of a poster stupid enough to do this, but could be another. I am sure this person has better goals for me. Lol.

Here are some of mine:
1. Hit 2m invested in the market. 20% gain.
2. Hit 4m gross income between all businesses.
3. Buy one apartment complex, increase total number of real estate doors to 35 (25 currently).
That's fantastic. Kudos to you. I own two properties and will be buying a 3rd soon. Continuing to invest as much as possible.
