The fall of the NBA is a boon for football
Not sure the NBA has fell, but it has nothing to do with a football game six weeks before it starts.

One of the most boring games ever.
For a Top 5 matchup.... Even on Highlight replay.

I remember being told there were more 4th generation Oregon State fans who would stop watching the new iteration of CFB than Joe's from the Bronx who would be tuning in
Do you genuinely believe that New Yorkers were watching this game en masse?

Brunch crowd with nothing else to do. 2 middling teams without many fans. Brunch effect on full display as they sat around and ate eggs and waffles watching 21 points total being scored.

Nobody said that.
They said TV executive care more about pulling in the average NFL fan who doesn’t currently watch a ton of college football and they don’t care if they ruin the experience of college football for the fourth generation Oregon State fan.
Literally nobody said what you posted.

And they wonder why Fox and espn love that noon slot. It’s a gravy train.
two top 3 teams
two of the biggest name brands the sport has
playing a close game
That's going to draw a lot of viewers no matter what time slot they're in,

Why did you ignore the middle of that statement?
You twisted people’s words so you could be a condescending prick
Very on brand for you
